Leader: 3 Strengthen those who have tired hands, <\/span><\/p>\n

and encourage those who have weak knees. <\/span><\/p>\n

ALL: 4 Say to those with fearful hearts, <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cBe strong, and do not fear, <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

for your God is coming to destroy your enemies. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

He is coming to save you.\u201d <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Leader: 5 And when he comes, he will open the eyes of the blind <\/span><\/p>\n

and unplug the ears of the deaf. <\/span><\/p>\n

ALL: 6 The lame will leap like a deer, <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

and those who cannot speak will sing for joy! <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Springs will gush forth in the wilderness, <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

and streams will water the wasteland. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Leader: 7 The parched ground will become a pool, <\/span><\/p>\n

and springs of water will satisfy the thirsty land. <\/span><\/p>\n

ALL: 8 And a great road will go through that once deserted land. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

It will be named the Highway of Holiness. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Evil-minded people will never travel on it. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

It will be only for those who walk in God\u2019s ways; <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Leader: 9 Lions will not lurk along the road, <\/span><\/p>\n

nor any other ferocious beasts. <\/span><\/p>\n

There will be no other dangers. <\/span><\/p>\n

Only the redeemed will walk on it. <\/span><\/p>\n

ALL: 10 Those who have been ransomed by the Lord will return. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

They will be crowned with everlasting joy. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Sorrow and mourning will disappear, <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

and they will be filled with joy and gladness.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
