Revelation 7

Leader: From every nation, in every language, we lift our voices together:

ALL: Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!

Leader: Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving!

ALL: Honor and power and strength be to our God forever and ever!

Hallelujah! Amen!

Psalm 24

Leader 1: 1 The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.
  The world and all its people belong to him.

Leader 2: 3 Who may climb the mountain of the Lord?
  Who may stand in his holy place?

ALL: 4 Only those whose hands and hearts are pure,
  who do not worship idols and never tell lies.

Leader 1: 7 Open up, ancient gates!
  Open up, ancient doors, and let the King of glory enter.

Leader 2: 8 Who is the King of glory?

ALL: The Lord, strong and mighty;
  the Lord, invincible in battle.

Leader 1: 9 Open up, ancient gates!
Open up, ancient doors,
  and let the King of glory enter.

Leader 2: 10 Who is the King of glory?

ALL: The Lord of Heaven’s Armies—
  he is the King of glory!

Psalm 126

Leader:1 When the Lord brought back his exiles to Jerusalem, it was like a dream!
ALL: 2 We were filled with laughter, and we sang for joy.

Leader:  2 And the other nations said,
  “What amazing things the Lord has done for them.”
ALL: 3 Yes, the Lord has done amazing things for us! What joy!
  4 Restore our fortunes, Lord, as streams renew the desert.

Leader: 5 Those who plant in tears will harvest with shouts of joy.
ALL: 6 They weep as they go to plant their seed,
  but they sing as they return with the harvest.

Psalm 105:1-5

Leader: 1 Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name;
  make known among the nations what he has done.

ALL: 2 Sing to him, sing praise to him;
  tell of all his wonderful acts.

Leader:  3 Glory in his holy name;
  let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.

ALL: 4 Look to the Lord and his strength;
  seek his face always.

Leader:  5 Remember the wonders he has done,
  his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced,

ALL: 2 Sing to him, sing praise to him;
  tell of all his wonderful acts!

Isaiah 53:5-9

Leader: He was oppressed and afflicted,
  yet he did not open his mouth;
  he was led like a lamb to the slaughter,
  and as a sheep before its shearers is silent,
  so he did not open his mouth.

ALL: We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
  each of us has turned to our own way;
  and the Lord has laid on him
  the iniquity of us all.

Leader: He was assigned a grave with the wicked,
  and with the rich in his death,
  though he had done no violence,
  nor was any deceit in his mouth.

ALL: But he was pierced for our transgressions,
  he was crushed for our iniquities;
  the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
  and by his wounds we are healed!
